Stephen Spielberg Reflection

Stephen Spielberg is a world class film director and to be world class he has to use many special techniques and methods. In most of Stephen Spielberg’s films he is using suspense and this is shown by his special way of only showing specific parts of the character and not the whole characters body. Spielberg strongly believes in the film technique of showing not telling as he likes to show what is happening through the characters body and not the character saying what is happening. He uses 2 main techniques to introduce his characters which are fraction and action. The action part consists of the characters personality and moral values. Fraction is only showing a part of a character and not the full body. By using fraction it makes the audience more engaged and more interested to see what is going to happen next.
